Our small group adopted a family and I was the designated pkg dropper offer..... I needed a helper and I just couldn't think of a better little person than Morgan. So we headed off to our location with our loot!!
Morgan pushed the dolly out and held it still while I loaded it up!
Then, inside we went again to deliver our goods. We were excited that we beat our family there, so we could leave the goodies and know that they would be excited and blessed to get them!
Morgan got to meet Ms Bonnie, the child care development director. Needless to say, she was quite fascinated with Ms. Bonnie, look at Morgan's face....
Miss Bonnie told her (in her oh so wonderful with children voice) "Thank you Morgan for serving the Lord like this with your small group!' . Then she asked her questions and interacted with her. Morgan told her that she had asked Santa for butterfly pj's and told her about her favorite color being pink, and playing rock band with Daddy. Ms Bonnie invited her back to play her a song on her guitar when she's ready.
Here's a sorta picture of us leaving
In the car, she was very serious and full of questions about what we do there. "Is that place a church or a school?" she wanted to know. I carefully explained what we do there, and she was very thoughtful about it all. Then I said, "do you know what the best thing we do there is?" and she asked what.... "We teach them about Jesus!" She looked at me and said "Those little kids don't know about Jesus and you tell them?" I told her that the some of the adults and children didn't know anything about Him before they came. She asked again if we told the children. I said "Oh yes, Miss Bonnie and Miss Sarah teach them all kinds of things about Him" She was understandably very happy about this.
"We were hungry, so we shared a breakfast from "Mickee D's" Morgan says, "some people still call it Mickey D's"
Then, we went to Sams, where the hot chocolate started showing. We had so much fun, Morgan talked to EVERYONE, and tried to sound out everything she could read. |

| just a chillin' and conversin' in the cart |
Well, let me tell you, it took about 2.5 seconds for Aunt Becca to fall in love. Morgan walked out with a new Christmas barrette, because Becca said she needed one more thing to be ready for Christmas, a candy cane that she didn't even argue with me about getting permission from daddy to eat, and a new lizard pen. When we left, she was skipping to the car singing "i'm so happy, i'm so happy"
and I realized, I had had the easiest morning, where absolutely everything went right....
then I dropped her off to daddy, still a little high on sugar!
