The little man who crawls...

That's right, I said it...CRAWLS!  And pulls himself up on things and eats solid foods (to an extent) and says real words...sort of.  I don't know why but I'm singing Sunrise, Sunset in my head just thinking about it all.  Morgan is getting bigger and funnier every day too, but pictures say it best (and admit it, that's why you came) so here goes...

The blogger who wasn't

Wow, I can't believe how much time has passed and how many milestones the little man has hit since I was last here.  Let me just say that I really can't get internet connection during the day, which has put a serious hurting on this blog!  We all know how it is when you go home from work, even if your job is as awesome as mine.

A few little updates:
We have two bottom teeth!!!
Gabriel sits up all by himself
He is figuring out how to crawl, but he can scoot himself anywhere and turn around
Did I say he has been rolling over forever?
Gabriel loves to hold on to your fingers and stand up
He is constantly dancing
He likes meat! (we don't know if it likes him yet tho)
He is saying some "words" (ball, baby), definitely repeating a lot of sounds
He still loves music

um, I'll think of more!  Pictures to come!!

Club mom and milestones

Gabriel is growing so fast and is such an awesome little man.  Right now he's sitting next to me (sitting up!  of course, he's propped a little) playing with his guitar and chewing on his fingers.  *ETA he's now sleeping next to me.

Gabriel is six months old now, he has his first tooth (!), he can reach and grab what he wants and put his bink in his mouth the right way!  He also loves his mangos in his oatmeal.  He's learning not to make a huge mess when he eats, but when he does, it's pretty fun.

Gabriel loves his bouncy and we've just started watching baby signs together.  When I finished feeding him his mango oatmeal, I made the sign for all gone while I said it, and he looked at me like I was very silly :)  He loves kisses, eskimo kisses & raspberries. He especially loves raspberries on his cheek close to his ear and on his chin.  Although, the belly ones make him laugh a lot too!

Yesterday we went to the fabric store to pick out some stuff for baby Dallas, then we went to the mall to meet mommy for club mom.  There were supposed to animals but they got stuck in the ice storm in Indy.  However, my friend Candice & her baby girl Dallas joined us as well and it was a good time.  (Dallas is two weeks older than Gabriel)  They liked each other.

Here are a few pics to make you smile:

random cuteness

I just went up to check on Gabriel & he was crying in his sleep, little chest heaving, sounds of crying through the bink, but no tears.  I wanted to pick him up and wake him up, but he doesn't really love that....  I think he was crying because I haven't updated in so long...

(IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER)

It's not true!

I haven't been slacking off!
We had two snow days this week, so, that's why I'm behind!
Let's see, Monday we just kind of hung out at home and did all the normal stuff we do.  Play, bounce, rock, sway, sing, watch CMT & VH1 and a tiny bit of HGTV (wow, has it gone downhill since I had cable...)

Today, Little Man Gabriel was SUCH a trooper.  We left home at 8:37 for my 9:15 appt. with the endocrinologist.  I had to wake him up because he was actually sleepy little man this morning.  But he woke up with smiles and giggles and stayed that way ALL day.  He woo'd everyone who saw him today, including the doctor who tends to gravitate towards breasts, not babies.

Morgan came home from school literally bouncing with happiness because she is on GREEN today.  And she had fun on her field trip, seeing "if you give a mouse a cookie".  She also used air quotes with me for the first time today which still just makes me laugh!

Here are a few pictures for you!
